BugBase was a database was created at the Western Australian Department of Agriculture and Food in Microsoft Access with support from Herbarium data entry staff. It holds information on dry, wet and mounted specimens, and can track their loan to other institutions. It is now known as the Invertebrate Collection Database and is a catalogue of the DAFWA Insect Reference Collection.
